Writing provides me with a voice. It allows me to take my time and articulate feelings I might otherwise keep hidden, thoughts I wish someone could know. Who doesn’t desire to be heard? To be heard is to be seen, and who wouldn’t crave that acknowledgment? Feeling seen by those who matter to you instills confidence and reinforces your sense of worth.

Yet, through my journey, I’ve come to understand that nurturing my creativity is not just important; it’s essential for my well-being. Without it, I risk falling into frustration and disconnection from my true self.

She showed me images of the very same tennis courts I had previously used for a different concept, and I instantly knew that returning to this location with them would result in a truly stunning session. A few weeks into full-time home life, I took a leap of faith, leaving my role as Creative Director. While I miss aspects of it, I see a bright future ahead. Being home grants me the opportunity to deep clean, minimize, restyle, dream, and spend quality time with my kids. Amidst health challenges, I've taken a pause to focus on sorting things out. Surgery is on the horizon, and although I'm not looking forward to it, the potential life-changing outcomes are worth it. Counting down the days until I regain energy, my body feels better, and my mind is in a good place. Here's to embracing risks and taking steps toward living out your dreams!
