Heron and Dave | Palm Springs

Matt and I were eating dinner at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs when the cutest family a few tables over caught my eye. I loved the way they interacted with each other and wanted to capture their presence as a family. I whispered to Matt that I would love to photograph them and he encouraged to me to do what I do… I walked over and just asked if they would be up for some portraits the next morning. They said yes with no hesitation.

The next morning I slipped over to their hotel room to spend some time capturing them just enjoying some downtime in Palm Springs. During our time together I found out that they were in the movie/production industry which was inspiring to hear a bit about them pursuing dreams and starting a family at the same time. I really was honored that Heron and Dave allowed me to sneak into their mini vacation.
